The Extron SF 26PT is a two-way pendant loudspeaker for high performance program or music playback in high-ceiling and open-ceiling applications. Taking inspiration from modern pendant lighting, the SF 26PT offers an architecturally clean, patent pending design that complements the aesthetic of contemporary interiors. The SF 26PT is available in black or white and is paintable to fit in with any décor. The included Extron-exclusive PendantConnect™ speaker cable combines the speaker wires and steel support cables within a single outer jacket, providing a finished installation that is clean and secure. The UL listed SF 26PT offers both direct 8 ohm and 70/100 volt operation and is voiced similarly to the Extron SF 26CT for consistency and installation flexibility in mixed ceiling environments.

The 6.5" (165 mm) two-way pendant loudspeaker provides a wide and smooth frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz. The two-way design offers exceptional audio quality for applications where premium sonic performance is required. With a power rating of 130 watts continuous program, this speaker delivers the performance needed in larger spaces and music reproduction applications.

The Pendant Speaker That Blends InWith the introduction of the SF 26PT, Extron has taken pendant speaker design in a new direction. Offering clean lines and concealed wiring connections, the SF26PT has an elegant profile that blends into the background alongside contemporary pendant lighting fixtures.

Architects and designers will appreciate how these unobtrusive pendant speakers complement the design aesthetic in a variety of modern spaces, without requiring modifications to existing structure.

Integrator-FriendlyThe SF 26PT pendant speaker comes with everything needed for a finished installation, including 30 feet (9.1 m) of PendantConnect PCC-2 speaker cable with pre-swaged ends, an Extron exclusive hybrid cable design incorporating the speaker wires and two steel support cables into a single outer jacket for a clean installation with only a single visible cable. Like the speaker itself, PendantConnect speaker cable is paintable.

Voicing ConsistencyThe SF 26PT is voiced consistently with the Extron SF 26CT ceiling speaker to ensure smooth sonic transitions in applications when the listener moves between drop-ceiling and open-ceiling areas.

PendantConnectThe Extron exclusive PendantConnect speaker cable simplifies the installation process by

eliminating the need for a separate safety cable, which also eliminates the visual clutter caused

by separate speaker and safety cables. PendantConnect speaker cable achieves this by bundling

the two speaker conductors along with steel support and safety cables into a single harness

surrounded by a jacket that is color matched to the speaker.

The SF 26PT ships with the necessary hardware to complete a hanging installation over structure. The included 30 feet (9.1 m) of PendantConnect PCC-2 speaker cable is an Extron exclusive hybrid cable design that incorporates the speaker wires and two steel support cables into a single outer jacket for a clean installation with only a single visible cable. Both support cables may be attached to the same structure or attached to separate structures [Fig 1]. The included cable locks make hanging the SF 26PT fast and easy.

INCLUDED INSTALLATION HARDWARE

For installations onto a hard ceiling, the optional SMK C SF 26PT is available, providing the ability to hang the SF 26PT from a ceiling electrical box [Fig 3]. When required by local safety codes, the optional SMK A is available to limit lateral movement of the speaker.
