open up destiny quest and click on create account.

type in your last name and your barcode number (mrs. kliegman will give you your barcode number).

3.if you typed your info in correctly, your name will now show. next, enter your birthday.

create your username. it should be the first letter of your first name and your last name. Example: if your name was john doe you would type jdoe. create your password - your password will be given to you by your librarian.

If you did everything correctly, your name will now show on Destiny!

"Updates" gives you a quick summary of what's going on in your account.

Below that is a list of your friends activities; friend requests, changes to their bookshelves, ratings, reviews, recommendations and comments.

my quest updates displays

the number of titles you've

reviewed, friends you've made, &

recommendations you sent.

to accept a friend request,

click on the checkmark.

MyQuest INBOX displays friend request and recent comments from your friends.

inbox & friends

to find friends, click on friends, and then start typing the name of your friend. your friend must already have an account

on destiny quest.

remember, comments to

friends should be about books or

projects you are working on together!

Keep in mind that all comments, book reviews, etc. are first sent to your LIBRARIAN FOR APPROVAL! Make sure that whatever you write is APPROPRIATE, or your account will be deleted!!!!

You can keep track of the books

you are reading, books you have

read, or books you want to read

in the future! Just search for

the book on DestinyQuest, and

add it to your list!

click on my info to see what books

you have checked out

from our library.

when you are done, make sure

you LOGOUT!!
