Course Title : DRIVING

Lesson : ORIENTATION

General Course Learning Outcome: By the end of this week, the students will be able to:

1. know the vehicle and its parts

2. know the tools and equipments

3. safety precautions in the work shop

4. identify the component and its function

5. obey the regulations and policy in the work area

6. work as a team member

Description:This topic involves the skills and knowledge and attitudes required to drive a light vehicle

safely including handling of passengers, systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions,

monitoring of traffic and road conditions, management of vehicle condition, and performance and

effective management of hazardous situations.

Value Aims:

All activities are rooted in the understanding of the core values of Marian virtues of simplicity, charity,gratitude and joy.

The Light vehicle is parked, shut down and secured in accordance with manufacturers

specifications, traffic regulations and workplace procedures.
