Transformation of sentences
Read the dialogues.
Tina’s statements are positive. Positive sentences are also called
affirmative sentences.
Tony changed affirmative sentences into negative sentences
using never and not.
Also notice what happens to the main verb (rush) when we add the helping
verb did.
Don Quixote
wanted to be a
hero.
Don rushed
towards the
windmills.
