INTERIOR LABORATORY TESTROSSS installed its first anti-seismic plant in 1996. In 2006 it performed important experiments and tests on the shaking table of Athens University and in the same year it got a patent for the first Italian anti-seismic foot. Today ROSSS continues to carry out research and specialized studies in the anti-seismic field, supported by important Italian and foreign Universities. ROSSS is the only Italian company in this field to have its own efficient and modern Laboratory Test.

ROSSS is the first Italian company of the sector which has achieved the ISO 9001 Quality Certification. ROSSS is also certified in terms of Social Responsibility (SA 8000) and Environmental (ISO 14000 and EMAS). ROSSS products are certified according to European standards. All steel used by ROSSS is free from radioactive contamination, as agreed with D.Lgs 17/03/95 N°230

The 5 ROSSS Cantilever

SAFETY BOLTThe safety bolt of traditional cantilever systems does not have any elements that prevent it from slipping in case of stress.

The safety bolt SEQUOIA® ROSSS® is realized with a production system covered by exclusive ROSSS® patent, by molding rather than extrusion.

The safety bolt is the element on which the considerable forces, determined by the loads placed on the system’s shelves, are discharged.

This element is therefore entrusted with a crucial task in terms of safety. The safety bolt is of a certified structural steel S355 JR, by warm forming.

ROSSS® CANTILEVER, the latest generation modular rack designed for heavy loads of any nature and volume.

Two exclusive patents, maximum adaptability and flexibility to optimize warehouse management in many sectors; it rationalizes the arrangement of pieces with inhomogeneous measures, welcoming both material stowed in pallets or containers and materials with variable lengths that are not palletized.

Built to guarantee the most advanced standards of resistance over time, it can safely face stresses and shocks in warehouse movements. It can be designed to guarantee structural stability even in case of seismic actions.

BRACING ELEMENTThe columns and all the other elements of the system are held together by special bracing elements, which therefore play a very important function on the stability of the entire structure.

The SEQUOIA® ROSSS® bracing elements are made with a diameter of 42 mm, against smaller tubes or other types of open profiles.

BOLTThe unique bolting allows absolute precision in the connection between base and column, eliminating the tolerance of the hole/bolt tolerances.

COLUMNIt is the only cantilever with columns that are fully bolted instead of welded and therefore they are also painted inside for a better protection and durability. With the added advantage of a clear reduction of the size of the profiles during transport.

BASE COLUMN JUNCTIONBase and column are held together by fixing bolts present at the level of the columns. The solid tightness of their fastening is fundamental for the safety of the whole system.

The base of the cantilever is the element on which the vertical forces of the entire system are discharged. It is the-refore an essential element for security purposes.

HORIZONTAL AND DIAGONALThe steel used for making the horizontal and diagonal is of a certified structural type S235 JRH, with a minimum unit yield strength of 235 N/mm2. The product is obtained through the flattening of the extremities.

ARMS INTERCHANGEABILITY

The SEQUOIA® ROSSS® cantilever stands out in the market for the effective modularity and versatility allowed by having chosen a single 150 mm front section for all sections of the uprights produced.

This allows ROSSS® users to take advantage of a real interchangeability within the same warehou-se between shelves and columns, since these are not bound to the different sections of the structural elements.
