We are so very excited for our favorite month of all...October! The beautiful fall colors are beginning to show outside
and we have a month packed full of fun! Our Annual Fall Festival is planned for Friday, October 19th from 6:30 to 8:30
pm. We invite your family to join us for a night of fun, prizes and games. Here are some details of the event.
We encourage you and your children to dress in your best Halloween costumes for the festival! Since our Fall Festi-
val comes first, we are encouraging your child to wear Halloween colors the day of Halloween, saving their costumes to
be worn that night.
This year, we are going to fundraise for local military families. We really want to show our appreciation to the men and
women who have served or are serving our country. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our management.
We are going to be putting on a pumpkin patch to raise money for the families, as well as a raffle. The pumpkin patch will
start in a few weeks and run through the Fall Festival. We are also looking for donations, gift cards, gift baskets, etc. that
families can buy raffle tickets for. The raffle tickets will range from $1-$5, depending on the prize. We will be giving away
one free Parents’ Night Out and one free week of tuition! If you would like to donate wrapped candy for trunk or treat, or
donate prizes for our raffle, we will collect these at the front office.
During the week of October 15th, we will have a pumpkin decorating contest! This is your time to decorate a pump-
kin with your child at home and bring it back to our school to share with their friends. Please feel free to take the pump-
kin home at the conclusion of the contest on Friday so you and your child can put it on display at your home! All contest-
ants will enjoy a prize. Please put your name on your pumpkin.
If you have not done so already, please take the time to change out your child’s clothing in their cubbies. As fall ap-
proaches and the weather gets cooler we would like to continue to take the children outside. Appropriate attire will be
needed in order to do this. We will continue to apply sunscreen to your child if the weather is permitting.
Our next family event will be Honoring our Heroes in November. We will be honoring everybody we know that has
served this country in military, first responders, etc. Please look for more information on this event as November draws
near.
