In this worksheet you're gonna maker two collages with magazine clippings and glue. In the first one you must applythe rule of visual weights compensation, arranging the visual wieghts on both sides of the artwork, even though youwill be able to set some elements in the middle, you must balance the image as shown in the scheme.

In the second one you are gonna apply therule of the balance, in which you must set the biggest visual weight centeredbut in one side ofthe middle axis and balance it with other lighter elements as shown in the scheme. Don't forguet thatboth collages must also have lay out clipplings.

This color wheel, by having twelve portions, has the secondary and tertiary colors between the primary. TheCentral dodecagon has to be filled it with pure colors, you have to place the three primaries as separate aspossible, so that you will find three parts between them. Mixtures will be placed in those boxes that will haveto be approximately 25, 50 and 75% of the primary colors that are on the sides depending on what colorwe want to get. The secondary colors are a mixture of 50% of the primaries.

In the outer dodecagonyou'll add white to the mix. And in the inner smaller polygonyou'll add black. Theblack is convenient to obtain it yourself by mixing the three primaries in equal proportions. You can use the

black paint to mark the contours of the colored shapes at the end of the exercice.
