DETAILS OF PROJECT : Rotaract Club of Margao organized its Annual & Goa Zone’s 1st Zonal Event for

the Rotaract Year 2013-2014 “BEACH PLEASE-II”, Annual Zonal Monsoon Gaming.

Different Games like Beach Football, Beach Volleyball, Ring, Tug-Of-War was

organized wherein RaC Vasco-Da-Gama emerged as winners of the Event

PROJECT NAME : 1st Conference Core Committee Meeting

DETAILS OF PROJECT : Organised the 1st Conference Core Committee Meeting to decide on several aspects

towards planning of the Conference & to begin with finalizing with the dates for the

conference. This was important as it was also a Joint Meeting between the 2 Club

Presidents planning out for different Joint Projects to be undergone hereon. The dates

for the conference was however finalized with the D.R.R. to be scheduled on 1st & 2nd

of March 2013.

CLAUSE FOR POINTS CLAIMED : Joint Bulletin published alongwith Rotaract Club outside

DETAILS OF PROJECT : We released a Joint e-Bulletin for this month alongwith the Rotaract Club of

Colombo Fort, R.I. District 3220 & Rotaract Club of Paranaque Metro, R.I.

District 3830 on the occasion of ‘Engineer’s Day’ being observed. With this we

continue with our recent trend of releasing a Joint e-Bulleting with

International Rotaract Clubs every month thus building a very strong bonding

between Rotaract Clubs from different countries. The copy of the same is

attached alongwith the mail.

DETAILS OF PROJECT : We the President, Secretary & I.P.P. of the Rotaract Club of

Margao attended the Goa Zone’s 1st Zonal Meet organized by the

members of the Rotaract Club of Panaji. The meeting was very

remarkable as it was followed by a brainstorming session

discussing various issues/problems faced by individual Rotaract

Clubs towards effective functioning.

DETAILS OF PROJECT : We the members of the Rotaract Club of Margao alongwith Rotaract Club of

Curchorem-Sanvordem organized SPREAD COLOURS – Drawing Competition for the

Physically Disabled Children of the Gujarati Samaj Educational Trust’s – School for

the Physically Disabled in Aquem, Margao. The same was witnessed by our parent

Rotary Club i.e. Rotary Club of Margao’s President – Rtn. Nitish Naik alongwith

members of the Inner Wheel Club of Margao who alongwith us helped towards

organizing the competition to a very good level thus creating a much needed impact

to the special children.

DETAILS OF PROJECT : We, the members of Rotaract Club of Margao alongwith the Rotaract Clubs of

Curchorem-Sanvordem, Kolhapur MidTown Phoenix & Chiplun went on an official

I.C.Y.E. Visit to R.I. District 3140 (Mumbai) wherein we had celebrated World Tourism

Week with a joint project other than the Joint G.B.M. with different Club members of

R.I. District 3140 alongwith the signing of Sister Clubs, Release of a Joint Bulletin,

Different Club Service Projects, Professional Development Project, attending an

installation ceremony of another District for the 1st time followed by Letter-Head &

Lapel-Pin Exchange with as many as 6 clubs from R.I. District 3140. The exact details

alongwith points claimed are as specified below in a tabular format. The different snaps

towards the same are displayed in the next page in this report. With regards to the

same visit, we had undergone as many as 10 projects towards the same in the

International Service avenue of Rotaract

DETAILS OF PROJECT : Alongwith the I.C.Y.E. visit to R.I. District 3140 (Mumbai) we visited the Rotaract Club

of Chiplun which is part of different zone of R.I. District 3170 as officially the zones

have not yet been shuffled. And as part of it, we were part of their Charter Day

celebrations, Dental Check-Up Camp, Joint Meeting, Fellowship etc. as part of this visit,

we underwent as many as 8 projects with them thus wishing them all the guidance &

support in every aspect of Rotaract functioning.

PROJECT NAME : Induction of 3 new members to the Rotaract Club of Margao


PROJECT CHAIRMAN : Rtr. Sohani Almeida Coutinho


DATE : 1st September & 21st September 2013

VENUE : Betalbatim Beach & Gujarati Samaj Educational Trust, Aquem

DETAILS OF PROJECT : We inducted 3 new members to the Rotaract Club of Margao during different events

organized during the month. 1 member was inducted during our Annual Zonal Monsoon

Gaming – BEACH PLEASE-II wherein Rtr. Akshata Anvekar was inducted to the club,

while Rtr. Albino Carvalho & Rtr. Abner Rodrigues were inducted to the club during

SPREAD COLOURS – Drawing Competition for the physically disabled organized

alongwith RaC Curchorem-Sanvordem members. As specified already during last

month’s reports wherein we have paid the D.R.R. dues to actually more than the actual

physically prevailing strength of the club, the D.R.R. dues towardsthe joining of these 3

new members stands already paid.
