The pump uses a small portion of the circulated fluid to cool the motor and lubricate the motor’s durable carbon graphite sleeve bearings. The rotor and stator are sealed in stainless steel enclosures for long life providing quiet and balanced operation. This design eliminates the need for a pump seal used in traditional centrifugal pumps to isolate the circulated fluid from the motor.
