University for starting a Community

Dr.A.Elangovan, HoD of Commerce,

Periyar University. Our principal

Dr.N.Rajavel accepted the proposal from

Dr.C.Swaminathan, Vice Chancellor of

Per iyar Univers ity, Salem. This

community college will conduct Cell

phone service, Tailoring, Mushroom

cultivation, Vermicomposting, Food

production and Beautician courses free

of cost. In these courses all students

who have dropped out of school or

college and below 40 years of age can

enroll. The duration of each course is 6

months and they will be conducted in our

college premises. All, who successfully

complete the course, will be certified by

Periyar University.

The NSS organized a “Dengu

Awareness Programme” to our

volunteers and public in which we invited

Our department has arranged an

industrial visit to Seshasayee Paper

Boards Ltd, Pallipalayam, Erode on 14th

July 2015. Around 54 students and two
