How to give alms in our Parish this Lent? Jesus asks us to give alms, and the Lenten season is the proper time for that. This year, we propose to you 3 ways of giving alms:

-Almsgiving for the needs of poor families around the world -Almsgiving for the needs of our Archdiocese -Almsgiving for the needs of our Parish

We greatly appreciate your generosity!

Our Parish: Our Parish is in much need of f u n d s f o r b u i l d i n g maintenance and projects. The first goal now is to finalize the funding of the new Air Conditioning system. Another area of concern is the right side of the church, that urgently needs re-plastering. Your Parish needs your support!

Our Archdiocese: This weekend, we start the 2017 Archdiocesan “Sharing God’s Blessings” Annual Appeal. There are some brochures that describe the many ministries the appeal makes possible along with pledge cards and envelopes in the pews. You may make a pledge by completing the envelope and placing it in the collection basket.

Poor families around the world: This year again, Catholic Relief Services provides a “Rice bowl” program that you can follow at home with your family. The “Rice bowl” kits are available on the table at the Church entrance. You may take one per family; choose the English or the Spanish version at your convenience.

-Limosna para las necesidades de familias pobres en el mundo -Limosna para las necesidades de la Arquidiócesis -Limosna para las necesidades de nuestra Parroquia

Nuestra parroquia está en la necesidad de fondos para el mantenimiento de edificios y proyectos. El primer objetivo ahora es finalizar la financiación del nuevo s i s t e m a d e a i r e acondicionado. Otra área de preocupación es el lado derecho de la iglesia, que neces i ta u rgentemente re-yeso. ¡Su Parroquia necesita su apoyo!

Nuestra Arquidiócesis : Este fin de semana, comenzamos el Llamado Anual de la Archidiócesis "Compartir las Bendiciones de Dios". Hay unos folletos que describen los muchos ministerios que el llamado hace posible junto con tarjetas de compromiso y sobres en los bancos. Usted puede hacer una promesa completando el sobre y colocándolo en la canasta de las ofrendas.

Familias pobres en el mundo: Este año, Catholic Relief Services ofrece un programa, "Taza de Arroz," que puedes seguir en casa con tu familia. Los kits de "Tazas de arroz" están disponibles en la mesa de la entrada de la Iglesia. Puede tomar uno por familia; elija uno en inglés o español según su conveniencia.
