Sedini is a small town at the center of the Anglona region, in northern Sardinia.
It is about 50 km from the capital, Sassari, not too far from the towns of Castelsardo, and Tergu.
SEDINI
Sedini is famous for The domus de janas or “La Rocca” (literally "home of the fairies"), as we call it.
It was originally a necropolis excavated in the rock, whose origin is traced to the fourth or third millennium
B.C.
The main church is St. Andrew, the patron saint of Sedini, followed by the church of San Pancrazio and
church of the Rosary
The church of the Rosary
St. Andrew
During the second weekend of May we celebrate the feast of San Pancrazio, an ancient religious
festival at the medieval church. A community lunch is organized by the committee ,
together with a religious procession and a horse race.
Another local festival is the wine festival, when people can visit our wineries, taste the wine and eat
traditional food.
