Montage editing- various images put together after one another Continuity editing- generates the feeling of time moving forward, shots that link together. Ellipsis editing- when a cut does not go to the next instant of drama but leaves a gap at any length of time.

Verisimilitude- how the storyline is portrayed, is it believable, similar to real life. Realism- how the characters are portrayed, realistic or unrealistic. Denotation- what you see, for example a character is wearing a suitConnotation- what you can suggest, for example must be a professional Stereotypes- a way in which people are grouped together for example, teenagers would be stereotypically grumpy, stressed, rude ect.
