How  to  Search  Using  Consumer  Snapshots  

 

1.  A%er  accessing  ReferenceUSA  through  your  library.    Select  the  Consumers/Lifestyles  database.  

2.  Select  Advanced  Search  

3.  Select  elements  you  wish  to  search  by  from  the  Consumer  Snapshot  on  the  le%  hand  side.  Complete  the  selecCon  criteria  in  the  center  window.    Then  select  View  Results.  

5.  These  data  elements  are  sensiCve  data  elements.    You  will  not  be  able  to  view  the  individuals  informaCon.    Therefore,  you  have  been  taken  to  the  summary  tool.    Where  you  can  analysis  the  demographic  informaCon  about  these  individuals.  

6.  Select  weather  you’d  like  to  analysis  the  informaCon  in  a  chart,  table  or  matrix.  

7.  Select  the  elements  you  want  to  compare.    Then  select  the  Show  Summary  buOon  

8.  View    the  results.
