Sailing is a sport of skill and timing that everyone can easily learn and participate in. Although sailing is both physically and mentally challenging, no one person has an unfair advantage over another, which means that everyone has a relatively equal opportunity for victory.

The value of teamwork is clearly and dramatically demonstrated!

Sailing is by nature, a team experience. The role of each member of a sailing team is vitally important. In performing even the simplest of sailing maneuvers, certain specific actions must be performed precisely by each crew member in concert with the rest of the crew. The desire of each individual to perform well for the team becomes very strong as communication and camaraderie develop.

In the middle of San Francisco Bay, far from the familiar surroundings and pressure of the office, participants unwind and get to know each other in a new way. They interact and bond together as a team in a new, fun, and challenging way. that include meeting and event space

We can now provide you with a meeting room, classroom, or event space for your group. This

can be in conjunction with one of our team-building programs or separately.

Meeting rooms come complete with projectors, screens, whiteboards, markers, flip charts, internet connectivity and much more. Complete food and

beverage service also available.

Spinnaker Sailing’s Team Challenge Regatta is a totally unique group program that vividly demonstrates the value of the team with an exhilarating sailing race on the San Francisco Bay!

With specialized training, each team quickly learns to work together as a cohesive unit, driving to sail their sleek yacht to the finish line.

Individually, each team member benefits by improving decision making, communication, and leadership skills. Being part of a sailing Team instills a feeling of self confidence and helps build a strong, competitive , winning spirit!

Spinnaker Sailing is happy to offer several team building options to get your team out for an unforgettable day on the water.

PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

1/2 Day program - Our half day program starts in the afternoon and runs for 4 hours. It can be scheduled in any 4 hour time block between 12:00 and 6:00 pm. This program incorporates basic sailing instruction and racing. The 4 hr. Format is also available for non racing.

Cost $110.00 per person, Based on 4 persons to a boat.. $135.00 per person includes Lunch with Beverage

Spinnaker Sailing Presents! All Day program - This program runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and includes a catered Lunch. It starts with an Introduction to Sailing lesson and on water practice in the morning between 10 and 12:00. Then everyone enjoys a catered lunch on our deck overlooking the Marina from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and then it’s back on the water for a series of races.

Cost runs $175.00 per person and includes lunch and beverage.

2 hour Evening Sail - The 2 hour program is available for those looking to do something fun and different on a limited budget. This involves a relaxing and enjoyable 2 hour sail to the Bay and back. There is no emphasis on racing but everyone gets to participate in sailing the boat. The 2 hour sail is only available after 5:00 pm

Cost $ $50.00 per person - Based on 4 people to a boat.
