For 20 years Darlene has been a Self Employed Professional ranging from Television Advertising to an Award winning sales career in Real Estate and Insurance. She began her Entrepreneurial endeavors in the 90’s as the proprietor of ApartmentInc, an apartment locating service. She went on to become co-owner of EEL, now “Laugh Alot Games “ which manufactured their signature game Rhyme-N-Tyme. Rhyme-N-Tyme received countless awards, was utilized in Schools across the nation and thousands were sold throughout the United States and Canada. Darlene’s desire to help others led her to create The Self Employment Expo. The Self Employment Expo matches aspiring Entrepreneurs with services, options and opportunities for people to become successfully self employed. Through the Self Employment Expo, hundreds have become business owners ranging from concierge services and contractors to radio station owners. Entering it’s 10th year, The Annual Self Employment Expo has evolved from 26 exhibitors in a shopping mall to more than 100 businesses and 8 seminars and workshops. The Expo is designed to educate, empower and encourage people to successful self employment and business ownership.
