Not only has my mother been a wonderul

parent, but when I adopted my daughter

rom Vietnam, my mother made the trip

with me and taught me how to comort

and care or my daughter. As a single

parent, I could not do this without

her help. She is the best mother and

grandmother around!

ironing. The wrinkles were lited rom

Dads slacks and collared shirts to

Moms rendition o Sisters. There

was also the popular Tommy Dorsey/

Frank Sinatra tune Dolores. Old Green

Eyes Dolores sang it as she slid

a hissing, electric iron across my navy

blue St. Ambrose pants.
