Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise him, for he is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to his temple draw near, join me is glad adoration!

Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigning, bears thee on eagles’ wings, e’er in his keeping maintaining. God’s care enfolds all whose true good he upholds. Hast thou not known his sustaining?

Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee; surely his goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, who with his love doth befriend thee.

I love to tell the story of unseen things above, of Jesus and his glory, of Jesus and his love. I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true. It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

Refrain: I love to tell the story. ’Twill be my theme in glory, to tell the old, old, story, of Jesus and his love.

I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems, than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story, it did so much for me, and that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.
