TRANSCRIPT _ Free the Children

In countries like India, where we provide children with an education in order to prevent them ending up in exploitative child labour, to dozens of other countries around the world where we have worked in partnership with the local community funding and supporting schools in some of the poorest regions on earth.

And schools are just the beginning. We bring clean water projects, medical clinics and alternative sources of income to help empower communities and the women so that children do not have to be sent to work in situations of child labour, and instead can be sent to school to receive a brighter future; and learn to read and write and are given the chance to break the cycle of poverty.

Time and time again our organization has spoken out for children!s rights and proved that change is possible.

Here in North America, we empower young people with a sense of global citizenship. Young people are given the tools and skills so that they can make a difference.
