About Scott Peoples In December 2006, Scott Peoples was tragically killed whilst on a training ride near Mansfield in regional Victoria.

An exceptionally gifted sportsperson and a delightful young man, Scott was on the brink of breaking into the cut-throat world of professional cycling in Europe. Scott’s family along with a number of Shepparton cyclists and other interested people have come together to honour Scott’s memory through the Scott Peoples Foundation and Memorial Race.

About the FoundationThe Scott Peoples Foundation was established with the aim of assisting the development of Junior Cycling in Regional Victoria. Applications for funding can be made via the website. Over $20,000 has been has been awarded as funding to junior cyclists since the commencement of the Foundation in 2008.
