We would like to share their experience with you, and show you the step-by-step process so that you too can achieve this remarkable look. Derprosa lamination – An introduction: Derprosa Silver Soft Touch Lamination DF 161/261BOPP"SoFTTOUcH METALLIZED" http://www.derprosa.es/en/our-products Utilizing an innovative film made of Bi-oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) with extrusion-coated EVA on one side of the film, Derprosa allows strong adherence to the support that is laminated through heat. Designed especially for high quality graphic support laminates, the matt side has a unique and very sensory soft touch effect. The film boasts tactile properties that present an interesting and intense velvet-like effect that imbues your products with a life of their own. This is an exceptional film solution for products that need the allure of the touch distinction.

Adding Scodix to the Derprosa Lamination: Thanks to its special surface, the Derprosa film, when used as a substrate for printing, adheres very well to the ink to give it a unique 3D-like holographic matte effect. When you apply Scodix PolySENSE™ on top of the Derprosa silver lamination it creates an effect that is similar to hot stamping. The trick starts when the Scodix PolySENSE™ is applied onto the CMYK color with the Derprosa silver lamination situated underneath. When you place the glossy over the matte it creates an amazing contrast that results in a metallic color that is tangible. You can achieve a variety of unique metallic colors with stunning results, depending on your preference. Note: The Derprosa film is suitable for most printing technologies such as Traditional Offset, offset UV, Digital UV, Digital HP indigo / Xerox I-Gen / Canon.

The Process of applying Scodix on top of the Derprosa: 1. Laminate your substrate with Derprosa Silver Soft Touch 2. Choose your CMYK image design 3. Prepare your Scodix separation layer based on the parts you want to enhance in this way 4. Print your CMYK color on the top of the Derprosa silver lamination 5. Print your UV separation file with Scodix And voila! You too can add the metallic look and feel to your printing products for a lasting viewer impression.
