I would like to inform you that as of 28 April 2014 the name of ourFoundation changed to EXCEMED – Excellence in Medical Education.The name change will not impact your registration status in this or anyother Foundation event.

AimThe focus of this live educational preceptorship is to demonstratemultidisciplinary team working within the framework of NationalInstitute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance in themanagement of advanced (metastatic) colorectal cancer.

Learning objectivesAfter attending this live educational preceptorship, learners will beable to:- Define criteria for the resectability of liver metastases from

colorectal cancer - Summarize current evidence on diagnosis and therapy for

metastatic colorectal cancer patients - Apply the multidisciplinary approach in the management of

metastatic colorectal cancer patients

Target audienceColorectal surgeons, hepatobiliary surgeons, medical oncologistswith an interest in colorectal cancer.

Important: Learners will need to be able to demonstrate up to datevaccination certificates for hepatitis B, measles, rubella andtuberculosis.

Accreditation An application has been made to the EACCME® for CME accreditation ofthis EXCEMED programme “2014 Preceptorship in metastaticcolorectal cancer” to be held in London and Liverpool, UK.

EXCEMED adheres to the principles of the Good CME Practice Group(gCMEp).
