Cultural visits: The entire old town of Vitoria, with its narrow streets and unique architecture, has been

declared a monumental group. The gothic churches of San-ta Maria, San Vicente, San Pedro and San Miguel as well as the renaissance palaces of Montehermoso and Villa Suso are worth seeing. Visit the Museums of Fine Arts, Playing Card, Archaeology or the Basque Museum of Contemporary Art.

Sports in Vitoria and surroundings: Basketball, tennis, golf, trekking, horseback ri-

ding, cycling tours, and sailing on the nearby lakes.

Gastronomy and cooking lessons: Tapas tas-ting, lunch or dinner in a restaurant to try the famous

Basque cuisine. In Vitoria you can try both the most tradi-tional as well as the most innovative cuisine, as well as one of the most famous wines in the world - the Rioja wine.

Excursions: Bilbao with Frank Gehry’s Gu-ggenheim Museum, La Rioja and its wine-

ries, and San Sebastian with its famous beaches.

Cultural visits: One of the biggest medieval fortres-ses in Europe -Santa Barbara castle, the Archaeologi-

cal Museum of Alicante with the possibility of a ceramic workshop, the Lucentum Archaeological Site, the Bonfi re Museum to learn more about Fiestas in Alicante, and the Crib, Bullfi ghting, Volvo Ocean Race, or Water Museums.

Sports in Alicante and surroundings: Sailing, windsurfi ng, scuba diving, stand-up paddle boar-

ding, tennis, golf, basketball, horseback riding, cycling tours, and 4 x 4 trips to discover the Costa Blanca Mountains.

Gastronomy and cooking lessons: Ta-pas tasting, lunch or dinner in a restaurant to try
