Un Mensaje de Nuestro Pastor Amados de Dios, ¡Espero que todos estén bien y que Dios les dé paz a todos! Reflexiona sobre 2 cosas este fin de semana: 1) ¿Quién decimos que es Jesús? Si lo piensa detenidamente, verá que nos hacen esta pregunta todos los días, en casi todo momento, y respondemos con lo que decimos y hacemos. La vida tiene muchos cambios y desafíos, por eso debemos seguir creciendo en nuestro conocimiento y amor de Dios. Un niño conoce a Dios de una manera, no importa la edad que tengamos, siempre hay más en Dios. 2) ¿Qué es el poder? En las clases de ciencias, aprendemos que el poder es la capacidad de trabajar, mover o cambiar cosas. Ser poderoso es ser como Dios, que es todopoderoso y la fuente de todo poder, "porque de él, por él y para él son todas las cosas." Cuando usamos nuestros poderes para ayudar a otros y estamos siendo como Dios, "quien construyó fuerza dentro de mí", que es como debemos ser. Good people of God, I hope everyone stays well and God gives y'all peace! Please reflect on 2 things this weekend: 1) Who do we say that Jesus is? If you think about it carefully, you'll see that we get asked this question every day, in almost every moment and we answer it by what we say and do. Life has many changes and challenges, so we must keep growing in our knowledge and love of God. A child knows God one way. No matter how old we get, there's always more to God. 2) What is power? In science classes, we learn power is the ability to do work- to move or change things. Being powerful is to be like God, who is all powerful and the source of every power, " For from him and through him and for him are all things." When we use our powers to help others and, we're being like God, "who built up strength within me," which is how we were meant to be. I hope everyone has a good and peaceful week. Volunteers Needed for Gabriel Project The Office of Pro-Life Activities is seeking phone volunteers to assist with the Gabriel Project, a ministry for pregnant women and mothers in need. Volunteers will assist mothers and answer questions during initial intake calls. Volunteers should be available for at least one (two-hour) shift per week. Calls may be answered remotely. Training will be provided!
