• Vcal 70 -1000 on host (steered by STcontrol)

• VCAL is 10 bit value (0-1023)

• Misrepresented as char/octet in PixelModuleConfig.idl

• fixed to unsigned long (32bit)

• Tested with module M511958 with HV connected

• one FEC broken

• threshold tuned to 3200 electrons with TurboDAQ

• ToT tuned to 30 cycles at 20000 electrons

• Framework with STcontrol now in place

• probably still some more bug

• would be good to check the result with the scan experts

CORBA Problems

• Histograms are published to histogram server

• takes several minutes if all histograms are sent

• rate in the order of ten per second

• 101 bins x (3x ToT + 3 BCID + OCC) = 707 histograms

• Alternative (faster) method: download from RCE

• CORBA crashes (timeout?) when more then a certain amount (bins>50) of histograms present

• For now workaround in STcontrol

• download one-bye-one

• reasonably fast
