3 STEP SUMMARY OF GATHERING BLUE

Gathering Blue, by Lois Lowry shows us that we can accomplish a lot. In the

beginning Kira’s mom dies and she is all alone. So Vandara wants to kill her. So

they go to the Council of Guardians. They decide to keep Kira there to work on the

singer’s robe but Vandara gets to use her house and make a pin for the tikes.

After a long time she finishes the singer’s robe and they have the ceremony. At the

ceremony Her friend Matt brings her a blind man. Is this her father?
