2 FREMONT TRIBUNESUMMER ACTIVITY GUIDE

Dear Neighbors,

The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department is committed to quality of living. With today’s hectic and busy schedules, it’s easy to forget that taking time to enjoy each day is important to our physical and mental well-being. Take a

walk around Johnson Lake, join a softball team, go on a family picnic in a park, grow vegetables in the community gardens, play cards at the senior center, listen to the music at concerts in the park, cool off in a splash pad or let your dog run at the dog park! The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department has a little something for everyone. We are committed to ensuring that all residents and their guests have an opportunity to experience outstanding recreation activities and park facilities that enhance our quality of life by helping us stay healthy and fit, build relationships with family and friends and develop a sense of community pride.

-Kim Koski, Late Director of Parks and Recreation
