processes. It is completely configurable and extensible.
The rapid-deployment solution focuses on:

Purpose The formal scope statement captures and defines the work activities, deliverables, and timeline SAP
will execute against for a customer. The formal scope statement documents the shared
responsibilities for SAP and the customer.

Key Points
1. Personalization The scope statement is provided but may require collaboration to personalize it for a specific customer project
2. Details Note the scope and out-of-scope are derived from the services scope statement document
3. Ownership The Scope Statement is owned by Core Delivery and Delivery Manager (DM)
4. Follow Standard Template The service is the service as a general rule and the methodology must stay in tact however every customer will have some variant.

Purpose This document is used to provide the planned work break down structure and project schedule
based on the service methodology. The primary project tasks are included for each phase in the
service including scoping setup, realization, and go live support / workshop.

Key Points
1. Keep it Simple The project plan is intentionally balanced to include required tasks and information while not being too complex
2. Personalization The project plan will need to be adjusted form the standard template prior to sharing with customer.
3. Timing The project plan should start to be personalized and should be baselined in the Project Prep phase of the project.

1. This is a template and should be leveraged but additional detail can be added as needed. In addition format adjustments can be leveraged if needed
2. Note that some elements exist in the template for internal reference only.

going into the scoping workshops that take place in the second week of the project after the project
kick-off.

2. Timing It is recommended for the workshops to take place the second week of the project

1. In the end, the goal of the workshop is confirm customer understanding as well as to be able to needed configuration
2. You can think of the scoping workshop as a mini-blueprint with the difference that the scope is already known and you are just collecting the information that is allowed to be tailored.
3. Leverage the (offline) demo system to help walk the customer through the scope.

Purpose These are actually a series of documents to help the basis resources with their tasks. These include
documents to walk the reader through steps installing TM as well as post installation steps.

1. Structure The guides generally take the form of screen shots with descriptive information based on the sequence of steps to carry out a task. Not all variants are covered i.e. server types
2. Helpful Information Beyond the installation guides, documents exist on basic transport strategy as well as sample sizing information.
3. Standard Documentation Always leverage the standard SAP installation guides provided via the SAP market place. These documents are supplemental and provide additional information

1. These documents can be leveraged to help the basis tasks prepare the documentation to hand over to the customer once installation is complete.
2. Coordination between the basis resource and the TM Lead is needed to ensure understanding on overlapping tasks.

Purpose The business Process Description provides an overview of the processes in scope of the TM RDS
for Ocean Carrier Booking. It describes the solution overview, configuration rationale, and overall
design. It is meant to validate scope and specify personalization where allowed.
Target Audience Customer, Service Team
Key Points
1. 80 /20 Rule The scope is already defined with 80%+ complete based on predefined scope however it will need to be adjusted with personalization information gathered from the scoping workshop.
2. Process Details The processes for Ocean Carrier Booking are reviewed and discussed along with high level process flows and functionality explanation.
3. Baseline for Service This document is imperative for success and as such it must be signed off by the customer during scoping phase before realization can begin.
