What’S neW at Sani ReSoRt

As ever, there’s so much to look forward to at Sani and this year you’ll discover a lot more as our refurbishment programme gets up to full speed in time to welcome you for the start of the summer season.

Sani Beach hotelYou’ll find less is more at the Sani Beach Hotel this year as our ongoing renovation sees capacity reduced in several areas to provide guests with more space and even better amenities. The overall number of rooms will decrease to 394 while the capacity of the popular Poseidon Restaurant will also be less following its makeover. In addition, the Pool Bar will be fully refurbished to the perfect venue for a pre-dinner drink or somewhere to enjoy an evening in great company.

There’s an exciting new arrival too, providing even greater choice. The fabulously rustic Grill by the Pool will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and guests can look forward to a family-orientated menu offering a good selection of easy options such as grilled meat, seafood and chicken. There’s more good news too as Grill by the Pool is also part of our popular Dine Around programme.

Sani Beach cluBThere’s magic in the air as the nautical lounge in the main building of Sani Beach Club transforms into a vibrant cocktail bar and a great place to hang out. Meanwhile there’s more family fun in store as we add 10 new family rooms to double the number to 20 making Sani Beach Club a fantastic place for all the family.

PoRto Sani VillageEveryone loves a picnic so when you’re planning a day out make sure you take advantage of our new picnic baskets. Sani Picnic Packages include a new selection of picnic baskets along with complimentary picnic rugs for our guests. You’ll find a menu in your room with descriptions and prices for all the picnic packages. Due to requests from guests we’re also introducing a range of spa treatments for older children at Porto Sani Village. From facials to foot massages kids can now look forward to a pampering experience just like mum.

The Dining-On-Board Experience promises more as will the Private Dining On-The-Beach Service. We’ll even organise fishing trips for you.

JunioR SPa menuThis year sees the launch of a selection of junior spa treatments for our guests aged 12 or over. There are manicures, pedicures, soothing neck massages and there’s even one you can enjoy with mum. Check out the spa menus in your room.

Sani FootBall academyWe love soccer at Sani so make your way to the Mini Soccer Court which is open every day of the week and staffed by professional, certified instructors. There’s soccer for general players as well as teenager camps and organized tournaments. For booking and reservations, you’ll find reception is set-up on the Terrace near the mini soccer court and handles all bookings and reservations! Toilets and changing rooms are available next to the basketball court and when it comes to refreshments you’ll find the new Sports Bar located on the terrace, right next to the football court.

Stavros and Andreas Andreadis, along with their partner

and cousin Fokion Zisiadis, were standing in front of their

new project: the renovated Sani Marina and, of course,

their pride and joy, Sani Asterias Suites. They were feeling

so proud and the view of the place put a smile on their

faces. Their thoughts traveled back in time to when their

fathers stepped on to this soil for the very first time…

1960’s. Anastasios Andreadis, a very promising

businessman, along with his two business associates

Leonidas F. Zisiadis and Leonidas K. Zisiadis were about

to embark in the small boat that would take them to this

area called Sani. The weather conditions were particularly

promising that morning. Despite the cold, there were

clear skies and the sunlight was glorious. The sea was a

little bit restless but this was by no means an obstacle.

They had to reach Sani no matter what.

Halkidiki then was a place where nobody wanted to

invest in land near the sea, since they believed that it was

a certain way to lose money. But Anastasios Andreadis

had this feeling about this malaria-ridden land he could

not explain. He visualised this area in years to come and he saw paradise: turquoise waters, sandy beaches, blossoming nature, happy people. He was more than convinced that he had to buy it.

The meeting was set for this particular Monday afternoon before Easter. The four monks, representatives of the property of the Stavronikita Monastery of Mount Athos, and a lawyer were supposed to hold the final discussions. Anastasios Andreadis was nervous but confident. “This is a blessed place”, he thought while the boat was approaching. He crossed his fingers and prayed that everything would go well. “I think we have reached an agreement” said one of the monks. “We most definitely have” said the lawyer. The rest of the men made a gesture of total unanimity on the subject and they waited for Andreadis to comment. He was silent. His eyes were lost in the vast blue of the sea. His thoughts were far away. Ahead. In the future. The six men held their breath, wondering what he was thinking. “We have an agreement”, Andreadis said finally and smiled. And the story of Sani had begun.

In case that they order a-la-carte, the meal allowance amount of 20 € p.p. (children 10€) for the Sani Beach Hotel and the Sani Beach Club guests and 25€ p.p. (children 12.5€) for the Porto Sani Village will be deducted from their total bill. There’s no better way to sample the culinary delights at Sani than through our Dine-Around programme where guests can choose and dine in a different restaurant every night! The newly refurbished Sani Beach Hotel offers a new level of five-star family luxury as this year our
