LIFE NIGHT PARENTAL NOTICE

Parents, below is a list of topics that your youth will be discussing over the following Sundays. We would ask that you discuss these topics with your teens. Questions? Contact Liz Ortiz at 433-2777 ext. 119

or attend any of the Life Nights. Parents are always welcome.

2/26 Topic: Gimmie a Break (PARENTS TO ATTEND)

This night will continue our morality semester and looks at the Third Commandment: “Keep Holy the Sabbath Day.” God gave us the

gift of the Sabbath for us to rest, be thankful, spend time with our families, and, more importantly, worship Him. Many times our lives

are too busy to worship God even once a week. Talk to your teens (s) about how to make Mass and family time a priority on Sunday.

A special “Thank You” to more than twenty youth and young adults who planned and facilitated the Confirmation Retreat for some 90 Confirmandi the weekend of Feb. 4 in our Parish Hall. Their enthusi-asm, zeal and reverence were contagious. It was so moving and inspiring to witness so many of our young people empowered to minister to their peers by sharing their gifts and talents with them. The par-ish staff sincerely thanks them for their service to our parish community.
