Dear Friends and Family, I have had the blessing of going to India with Lipscomb Missions the last two summers, and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to go for a third time in the summer of 2017. Thank you to everyone that has helped me financially the past two years; I would not have been able to do go without your help. India has touched my life in more ways than I ever could have imagined. The relationships I have formed with my team and the people in India are ones that I will treasure forever. I am so excited to be reunited with my India brothers and sisters! During our time in India, we will be working with the same ministries that we have served with in the past. During the first week of the trip, we will be in Mumbai, India. Much of our time will be spent with the Grace Home Children there. I have been able to build close relationships with each of these children while we are in India, and I absolutely love getting to spend time with them. We will work with the Tamar Ministry whose focus is rescuing former prostitutes and their children and trafficked girls in the area. I have had the privilege of getting to hear many of their stories and spending time in fellowship with these women, and I am excited to have the opportunity to do this again. Last year, we visited Kamyab, a rehabilitation center for addicts whose focus is to bring people to recovery through the love of Jesus. This was an amazing experience, and God is working in huge ways through the ministry. During the second week of the trip, we will be traveling to Puri, and spending time with the children at the Grace Home there. There are 37 children total, and the time we had last year was very special. I absolutely love each of the children there, and they are completely full of love and joy. First, I am asking for your prayers for this trip as my team and I are preparing to go to India next summer. I am excited to see how the Lord is going to move through us and the people we are spending time with there. I am always blown away by the power of Jesus while we are in India. He is so good! In addition to this, I am asking for your financial support. My total fundraising goal is $2,600. Anything you can give would help greatly. If you would like to donate, you can do so online using a credit card by following the link www.lipscomb.edu/missions/giving/student-missions-gifts. Checks can be made out to Lipscomb University with Lipscomb Missions on the memo line. Please include my name and the trip name (India) on the outside of the enclosed business reply envelope. All donations are tax deductible. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you so much for your help and support! In Him, [Name] [Phone Number]
