MastHeads

Here are my five chooses for my main Mast Head, they are ranked in preference from top to bottom, I have gone for the first one because R and B music is a old school and the first one is a old school font. They will be located at the top left of the page, so they need to stand out and make people attracted to it. The Mast Head will be in a different colour from black these are the colours I will choose from:

These colours I have chosen, I will try and make it stand out because this is important to make it stand out

Features and other things on the front cover.

Here are the 5 fonts, that I am considering using in my features and cover lines, I have chosen these because my music genre is r and b, so an old school font is appropriate and also they will fit in well with my ‘House Style’ I am trying to create.

Here are 5 colours I am considering using in my magazine, I will use a different colour for each cover line to make them stand out, they are bright colours because r and b is associated with bright colours so I need to be consist with other magazines for the same genre.

Fonts for my main text bodyThese are some choices for my main text body, it is vital that these fonts are sans serif because it makes them easy to read and it is conventional for the main text to be sans serif.

The colours used will either be black or white, depending on the background. The one that stands out the most will be picked

Draft text for my two page spread.• Its been one year since Casey busted onto the scene with his debut album ‘Thank me now’

but now Casey is back with a vengeance. The 21 year old artist from Cambridge, is the biggest thing in r and b at this moment in time, his club anthems are massive all over England, he is young and cool and every girl wants to know him. Thank me now sold over 10 million copies in England alone, and now he is back with his second studio album called ‘Young and Foolish’ many editors from beats have called this album the best album of the year. This album is not full of club anthems, there is a few but not loads, they are mostly songs about his rise to fame, and how he has now fully embraced it.

• Casey is laid back, cocky, but cocky in the right way, he knows he is good. The most memorable song on the album in my opinion is ‘Right Back At You’ this is a song featuring Drake, Drake Casey admits is his inspiration. He talks to our writer and talks about his plans for the future, he says he wish to make more albums and finally go into films. Casey just loves music, especially his music. This really could be the year that Casey’s career takes off.
