Welcome to the Celox brand guidelines. This manual provides information, tools and guidance to help us and our partner organisations communicate the key Celox messages clearly, consistently and to the point.These pages contain design information for print and web, about our logo, brand colours, and typography.




Our Celox brand is recoginsed around the world, as a company we need to communicate consistently and effectively with our customers.World regions and markets have different requirements from their communication. These brand guidelines are designed to allow flexibility and variation in our communication whilst still maintaining a consistent look throughout. By following these rules we will build a brand that can communicate around the world.



These key elements are the fundamentals of the Celox toolkit, use these consistently and we have a unified brand.

Consistant use of fonts is vital to the communication of a unified look across everything we do. Gotham family is the range of fonts used.

Text always has a tracking value of -40 and the leading is always the same as the size of the text.

For example, these two paragraphs of text are 14pt in size, 14pt leading, -40 tracking, ranged left and with 2mm spcing between paragraphs.




Photography needs to be real, appropriate to the location in the world and focused on presenting a clear message. Avoid gratuitous use of medical incidents that may be inappropriate for commercial use. If in doubt contact Medtrade.

To achieve that focus, the area of interest in the image needs to be full colour and the rest of the image fades out to black and white. The Black and white layer has noise added to give a gritty feel, the Noise settings are 30%, Gaussian, Monochromatic



Print and advertising - For UK and RoW sized paper all grids work on an 8 x 12 system with half sized squares being allowed where a bit more refinement is required when working with multiple panels. For US sized paper the grid is an 8 x 11 system with the option of half sized squares where needed.

Web - Uses a 9 column grid using the same principals as in the instruction above.

Information is presented in panels with background colour and font size offering the flexibility to highlight certain information.

Celox™ Gauze

CeloxTM gauze haemostat is for pre-hospital use by trained emergency responders to stop bleeding from severe injuries, including those involving major arteries.

Pack the gauze directly on to the bleeding source and hold pressure for three minutes to stop bleeding from arterial injuries, gunshot wounds, road traffic accidents and other severe bleeding injuries.

How Celox™ worksCeloxTM has chitosan granules bonded to the surface of the gauze, maximising the amount of chitosan readily available at the point of bleeding.

• Chitosan absorbs fluid, swells and forms a gel;

• CeloxTM electrostatically attracts red blood cells and forms a gel-like plug.
