My story“My family moved from Georgia to Ukraine at the peak of Georgian-Russian war. My sister and I quickly came to love Ukrainian culture, language, traditions and values which we found to be very similar to Georgia’s and soon started winning first awards in various Ukrainian language, literature and music competitions as well as different subject Olympiads.

I have seen the two countries going through the toughest political and economic times. I have also witnessed how smart and daring reforms could have a profound positive impact on the lives of the millions. Today, my goal is to do everything possible to change the economic and political climate of emerging markets like Ukraine, help the state and the people find the common language and implement so needed reforms. Thus, I would like to become a public servant and be a part of Ukraine’s future government.

In order to fully realize my ambition to drive reforms and change in our country, I want to explore the international best practices and the lessons they teach us. The best way to do so is to receive international exposure through education in political science and economics and bring the worlds most efficient approaches to the places where they are needed most and where my heart is – Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

This year I am finishing high school in Ukraine and applying to US prep schools with the help of Ukraine Global Scholars program. I am grateful to everyone for their support and guidance!”
