Again he sent other servants, more numerous than the first ones, but they treated them in the same way. Finally, he sent his son to them, thinking, 'They will respect my son.' But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and acquire his inheritance.' They seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What will the owner of the vineyard do to those tenants when he comes?" They answered him, "He will put those wretched men to a wretched death and lease his vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the proper times." Jesus said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes? Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit." Mt 21:33-43 Our Lady of Fatima told the three little shepherds that God wished there to be devotion of her Immaculate Heart for world peace and for the salvation of souls, for our salvation. As she told the children “if what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.” This last of our Fatima prayers followed shortly, after Mary opened her hands and showed the children a terrifying vision of Hell. She then taught them to say the after each decade of the rosary: Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy.

Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

October 8th, 2017

Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people: "Hear another parable.

There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a tower.

Then he leased it to tenants and went on a journey.

When vintage time drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to obtain his produce.

But the tenants seized the servants and one they beat, another they killed, and a third they stoned.

Again he sent other servants, more numerous than the first ones, but they treated them in the same way.

Finally, he sent his son to them, thinking, 'They will respect my son.'

But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, 'This is the heir.

Come, let us kill him and acquire his inheritance.' They seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

What will the owner of the vineyard do to those tenants when he comes?"

They answered him, "He will put those wretched men to a wretched death and lease his vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the proper times."

Jesus said to them, "Did you never read in the Scriptures: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes?

Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit." Mt 21:33-43

Our Lady of Fatima told the three little shepherds that God wished there to be devotion of her Immaculate Heart for world peace and for the salvation of souls, for our salvation. As she told the children “if what I say to you is done, many

souls will be saved and there will be peace.”

This last of our Fatima prayers followed shortly, after Mary opened her hands and showed the

children a terrifying vision of Hell.

She then taught them to say the after each decade

of the rosary:

Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially

those who have most need of Thy mercy.

7:00 pm Mary Bible Study - Padre Hall

Next Saturday, Oct. 14th we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the great miracle brought by God through Our Lady of

Fatima.

Pray as a family. Mary helps us remember that God loves and guides us: “The angel Gabriel was sent from God to Mary, and he said, “Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you.… Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. … The Holy Spirit will come upon you … the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. …for nothing will be impossible for God.” Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to

your word.” (Lk 1:26-38)

When people fall in sin, God helps us repent and be one again: “Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. … His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him. He has shown the strength of his arm, and scattered the

proud in their conceit”. (Lk 1:46-51)

God wants our families to live in love, and help others do so too: “After three days Joseph and Mary found Jesus in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions, and all who heard him were astounded at his understanding and his answers. … He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus advanced [in] wisdom and age and favor before God

and man.” (Lk 2:46-52) Hail Mary, full of grace…

ort Father Ron will be at Clergy Retreat all next week.

Consider: Shall we replace annual paperback hymnals with a permanent

hardcover hymnal?
