Caution:

Make sure bolts are torqued to specCut enough safety wire to complete the taskFeed the wire through approximately half way through

Wrap one end around the bolt head tightly.Start twisting the wire clockwise immediately upon exiting the bolt hole Leave no gaps

Make two twists (clockwise)

Run the wires approximately where they need to go. Then attach pliers and lockContinue twisting clockwise 8-10 twists per inchDo not over twist

Feed one wire through other bolt holeMake sure safety wire has a tendency to pull the bolts tighter

Wrap one wire around the bolt headGo under the other wire

Make two tight twists counter clockwise by hand

Attach safety wire pliers and lockContinue twisting counter clockwise until about ¼ to ½ inch.

Cut wire Fold end to make a “pig tail”

Congratulations! You just made a proper safety
