assessment of the Safe Harbors HMIS implementation◦July 2012 – February 2013

Assessment was provided through HUD Continuum of Care Technical Assistance

What is the AHAR?

Report on demographic and length of stay data for housing programs

Communities around the country provide this data to HUD and it is combined into a national report on homelessness

Data has to meet a certain quality threshold in order to be used in the national report

Report timeframe: October – September
