Introduction to TRACT integration with CRM
n Integrationl The Integration with CRM is based on an Adapter that is running in the CRM’s
environment.l TRACT customer can download and install the adapter.l TRACT customer can configure the adapter to work with his CRM account and his
TRACT account (Sandbox or Production).
nFunctionalityl The adapter creates a new account in TRACT when an account is created in your
CRM syste,l The product catalog is synchronized from TRACT into the CRM pricebookl When an opportunity changes to “closed won” (configurable) in CRM the adapter
creates an order for the opportunity and associated products in TRACT;(configurable to different trigger than “closed won” if the sales process is different)
l Reference information is stored in both systems, e.g. in CRM the TRACT Account# and Order# can be viewed. In TRACT, the CRM account# is stored as the “External Account#”.
