During the COVID-19 directives of limited seating re-strictions at weekend and weekday Masses, St. Pio Parish still needs your support. For those of you who remain at home, we humbly ask that, to the best of your ability, you continue to make your weekly offertory donations, either by mailing them to the parish, or through e-giving. If you would like to sign up for e-giving, please visit the parish website www.stpioparish.org and follow the “about us”, then “online giving” pages. Please note, your “membership number” is your envelope number.
Thank you & May God Bless You.
The Parish Office hours will resume on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 9:00 am.
Fr. Greg asks that you only visit the Parish Office if it is absolutely necessary; otherwise,
please call or email your requests or concerns.
If you must visit the Parish Office, please: wear a mask at all times,
maintain six feet of distance at all times, and refrain from touching any surfaces
at the front desk.
These guidelines are for everyone's safety!
Thank you & May God Bless You

REFLECT FIRST READING The birth of the Church occurs with the
descent of the Holy Spirit onto the Apos-
tles. Luke presents this as an experience of
unity. How do you see your faith communi-
ty promoting unity of mind and spirit?
SECOND READING Paul speaks to the Christians in Corinth of
the gifts and benefits of the Holy Spirit for
believers. What Spirit-driven gifts do you
possess?
GOSPEL READING John tells us how the resurrected Jesus gave
the gift of the Holy Spirit directly to the dis-
ciples, empowering them to forgive sins.
How often do you use the gift forgiveness?

Faith Formation & Youth Ministry News
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, one forgotten group is our Senior High School Students. They have been suspended from attending their schools, missed proms and all the pomp & circumstance that goes along with Graduation! We have 2 such students in our High School Ministry Group and would like to acknowledge them in today's bulletin for all the effort and service they have giv-en to our Parish! We are so proud of both of them!
Janice Pazuchowski Faith Formation
Erin Boddington Erin Boddington is a Graduate of Fraser High School and plans on attending Macomb College to study as a Veterinary Technician. She is a member of High School Ministry, HOSA, National Technical Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. Erin is best remembered as helping at Fish Fry’s during Lent!
Jeremy Russo Jeremy Russo, Graduate of Fraser High School, plans on attending Macomb Col-lege then transfer to Oakland University for Engineering. He was a member of First Robotics, National Technical Honor Society and High School Ministry. Best remembered as Fr. Greg Rah-Rah Borski in the Souper Bowl of Caring skit!
Music Notes I hope you are all well and maintaining comfort during
this very unusual time. I miss making music, of course, but I miss visiting and seeing all of you as well. Things are going to look (and sound) a bit different when we return to mass. There will be no choir at mass. We will have a cantor and my-self. I hope to add an instrumentalist or two and perhaps another cantor incrementally over the following weeks but am in no rush to do any-thing. Social distancing will be fol-lowed to the letter. I want to see how everything goes for the first few mass-es. This unprecedented Covid event has altered almost everything. The instructions on returning to mass from the Archdiocese are quite specif-ic. It is impossible to return to our routine that we abandoned in March. Most importantly, PLEASE read and re-read the vitally important instruc-tions from Father Greg. These can be found on the parish website. I cannot stress this enough. This is essential information!! I want to focus on some more fa-miliar hymns for mass due to the re-moval of our hymnals. I’ll guide you along, folks. We will still have beauti-ful music at our beloved parish, I in-sist! Please email me at my parish ad-dress if you have questions. Please refer to and recite your Prayer to St. Michael in your choir books. We are temporarily separated but we shall get through this together.
