Fall Worship Schedule will resume on September 9. Sunday School for all ages will be held at 9 a.m. and Worship will be at 10:15 a.m. Please plan on joining us and bringing a friend with
you to Sunday School and Worship.
We talk a lot about healthy eating encouraging everyone to pay attention
to what you put into you body. It’s good advice when it comes to eating.
But by the same token we need to pay attention to what comes out of our
body. Jesus reminds us that sinful words and deeds come out from the
heart and the mouth and we need to be on guard against these things.
From our hearts come our mean and unkind thoughts. From our mouths
come sharp and hurtful words. These things come out and destroy and
pierce the heart and souls of other people. And the truth is that these
things make us dirty and sinful. These things make us unclean. Only the
waters of baptism can wash away this type of
dirt. So we need to focus on the baptismal
washing, that soul cleansing and be very, very
careful about what comes out of our bodies.
May it only be good words and deeds that
help us glorify God and love our neighbor.

PRAYER JAR - You will notice a large jar sitting on the Hospitality Table as you
come to worship at New Hope. Many folks have said they don’t feel comfortable
speaking out loud or sharing their prayer concerns during announcement time. So
now you can place your prayer concerns in our prayer jar and we will pray over
the jar every Sunday. So bring your prayer concerns, or you can write them on the
paper provided and place them in our prayer jar.
Outdoor Worship Service-On Sunday
September 2nd we will gather at 9 a.m.
at Hillcrest Restaurant for an outdoor

Thank you! Thank you! Thank You! Norm’s truck was full.
Please look at our facebook page and see all the food and a
couple of “hams” loading the truck. What a tremendous
offering. Norman smiled as he drove his truck to Hanover and
delivered half of the load to the Council of Churches and half to
the Food Pantry of the First Baptist Church where the shelves
were bare. What a great way to celebrate Jesus being the bread
of life!
It’s time to jump, jump, jump those jiggles out, clap, clap, clap those crazies out and
sing, sing, sing our praises out on Wacky Wednesday. For those who may be confused
the Totally Terrific Thursday singers sang this song every week last year as one of their
opening songs. What will be different this year is that their praises will not be sung out
on Totally Terrific Thursdays but will be singing out once again on Wacky Wednesdays.
The time remains the same from 4:00-5:30 p.m. The place remains the same at Pastor
Kielley and Liz’s house at 58 Maple Avenue, Littlestown and the agenda remains the
same with bible study time, crafts, singing and snacks. Children ages 4 through
whatever are encouraged to sign up on the sheet found on the Hospitality Table. Choir
will begin on WEDNESDAY, SPETEMBER 19th. Kids, ask those who attended last
year and they will tell you we had a totally terrific Thursday time and this year we plan
on having a WACKY WEDNESDAY TIME!
