SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE Worship at 9 A.M. at Littlestown High School
There will be no Sunday School and no Sunday Evening Bible Study this summer.
Attendance: 177 Offering $3,581.00
Happy Father’s Day! Today we give thanks for the gift of our fathers.
There are indeed many things that fathers provide that are a gift for their
families. Today most of all we give thanks for fathers who live and model
the Christian faith for their children. Fathers are to be spiritual leaders in
their homes, a living reflection of our Heavenly Father. We can be
thankful for all the fathers who
have reared their children in the
knowledge and fear of the Lord.
We also remember those fathers
who have now gone on to be part
of the Church Triumphant and we
also give thanks for all who have
served as father figures in our
life. God bless all of our fathers
today!

PRAYER JAR - You will notice a large jar sitting on the hospitality table as you
come to worship at New Hope. Many folks have said they don’t feel comfortable
speaking out loud or sharing their prayer concerns during announcement time. So
now you can place your prayer concerns in our prayer jar and we will pray over
the jar every Sunday. So bring your prayer concerns, or you can write them on the
paper provided and place them in our prayer jar.
Do you have a smart phone?
If so, than check out your app store
and download a FREE QR reader.
Once you’ve done that just point and
shoot and before you know it you’ll be

We are Flipping Out This Summer!!
Please help us as we gather Flip Flops
for use at the Homeless Shelter. We
will be collecting Men and Women’s
Flip Flops this month! We need to
gather as many as possible as they are
used year round in the shelter but seem
only to be available in the summer
months. So let’s really flip out and
gather those flip
flops! A box will
be available for
you to flip those
flip flops in!!
This will be our 2nd year for the Littlestown Good Ole Day yard sale. Time to clean out the attic, basement
and garage for our yard sale in Pastor Tim and Liz’s driveway on August 16th, 17th and 18th. Please no
clothes for the yard sale. We will have a sign-up sheet for those who wish to volunteer their time on those
days too. YOUTH OF NEW HOPE—we will be having a snack stand at the Yard Sale! Please sign up to
help!! Money raised will help with our fun days out!!!

Special Offering for June:
Box of Hope :
Items we need for the month of June for the Local Shelter & Soup Kitchen:
Canned fruit!!!! Canned Juices (gallon container), canned peas and canned mixed vegs.
Please place your items in the “Box of Hope” tub located near the Hospitality Table.
The Special Offering for June is for a boy named Chris. He is 11 years old and was diagnosed with cancer
late last fall. He underwent one round of chemo to shrink the tumor, then had his leg amputated and now is
undergoing another round of chemo. Chris and his parents live in Waverly, New York. He has received all of
his medical treatments at Geisinger, which is 2 1/2 hours from his home but the nearest large medical facility.
They have made approximately 40 trips to Geisinger and have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House there
many times. Chris’ parents both work, but the cost of gas, medical co pays, overnight stays and time off work
are financially stressful for them.
Coming Soon—New Hope T-Shirts. We will soon have sample sizes for Youth, Women and Men. We will be taking orders in the near future.
Did you know that forgetting to wear your anchor pin really gets our
goat? So if you forget you have to put a quarter in the jar to help us
buy a goat in return! We will use the money raised to help Heifer
Project International buy a goat for a family in need. So don’t be an
old billy goat gruff....wear your anchor or help us get someone’s goat!
Literally! And watch out for our own Billy Goat (Doug Mummert) he
will be looking for those pins!
What is there was a way to contribute more to New Hope Faith Community without changing the amount you designate or the amount you budget toward your household purchases or increasing your expenses? Do you currently give or receive gift cards? By purchasing your gift cards through New Hope at FACE VALUE, you neither increase nor decrease the amount you would have spent on the card, BUT, New Hope receives a percentage! Do you buy your groceries at Giant? Do you catch an occasional lunch at Wendy’s? Do you get you hair cuts at Holiday Hair? Do you buy you Back-To-School Clothes at Old Navy? Pay Cash? Check? Credit Card? Why not pay by Gift Card? In June, the New Hope Fundraising Committee will make it convenient for you to purchase Gift Cards after church. Pay whatever the FACE VALUE is and a portion of the money stays here at New Hope. Check out the list of retailers, hotels, eateries, Goods and Service providers and see if Gift Cards would be good for you.
Be sure you keep us
updated on any email
changes. You can notify

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry, alias the Happy Hookers, concluded our
”weekly” Tuesday night session (7-9) for the summer. Instead we will
meet once a month on Tuesday nights, June 26th, July 31st, and August
28th at the happy halls of 323 Foxleigh Drive, Hanover. In September,
after Labor Day, we will resume our weekly schedule. We invite anyone
who is interested to join us. . . We have a very happy group! It is a joyful
evening, in addition to making something beautiful for someone!
During the summer months, Debbie Prior and some of the “senior Hookers” will meet with
our Junior trainees, at our off-site campus, - the home of Larry and Bonnie Bair, after the
church service on Sunday mornings. . . . So far we have four young ladies who would like to
learn to knit. All are welcome! We will provide the needles and yarn, you just come and
learn! The first meeting will be JUNE 24th.
We have several prayer shawls made, so if you need or know of someone who
would be comforted by having a prayer shawl. Please contact Pastor Kielley
or one of us and we will see that you get one to deliver, with a prayer or one
of us will help you.
So far we have delivered 16 prayer shawls all with a message assuring each
one that they are in the prayers of the New Hope Faith Community! We can
widen our circle of service with your help!!
