S Dragon (Because its shape reminds me of the letter S. Or maybe S stands for sea.) Wasn't really planning to make this, so sorry for bad photos/unclearness. I don't have a certain pattern for these yet. And doubt I ever will, so here. Made by Rrkra ( http://www.rrkra.deviantart.com ) Free to use, free to share, free to sell the finished things. Would be nice to link to me, but not necessary. Materials used: big bead(the one the dragon will wrap around), two size 6 beads (for eyes), cylinder beads (Toho treasures or delica), size 15 beads, size 11 beads. (size 11, 15, cylinders — in two colours. Black and gray in my case). Size 8 beads or magatamas for spine. *you can manage with less bead sizes though. 0.1mm braided line, size 12 beading needle. Also a piece of cotton cord. Techniques: peyote, ndebele, brick stitch. 1. Wrap a strand of size 15 beads around 1 half of the big bead (even amount of beads). I tied the main thread to the cotton cord that goes through the big bead's hole (because there are sharp edges that might cut a thinner thread). If you decide not to use a cord – just hide the knot inside the big bead. 2. Peyote. +1 row of size 15(gray), + 3 rows of treasures(1 gray, 2 black), +2 rows of size 11(black), +1 row of size 8. Then a row of size 8, size 6 or magatamas. Then the rows before magatamas – in reverse: +1 row of size 8, +2 rows of size 11(black), + 3 rows of treasures(2 black, 1 gray), sew to the first row of size 15s. If you used a cord – hide its ends inside the tube, cut the excess.

S Dragon(Because its shape reminds me of the letter S. Or maybe S stands for sea.)Wasn't really planning to make this, so sorry for bad photos/unclearness. I don't have a certain pattern for these yet. And doubt I ever will, so here.

Made by Rrkra ( http://www.rrkra.deviantart.com )Free to use, free to share, free to sell the finished things.

1. Wrap a strand of size 15 beads around 1 half of the big bead (even amount of beads).I tied the main thread to the cotton cord that goes through the big bead's hole (because there are sharp edges that might cut a thinner thread).

3. NeckDo a few rows of brick stitch for the neck (I used treasures).Last row of neck should have 9 beads. (or 10. 10 is okay too)

4. Head pattern.I hope it makes sense. Basically a ndebele tube, large green dots = big eye beads. The rest are Toho treasures beads.

The shortest strand should be at the bottom.

Red dots = last row of the neck.

5. Head crest.Sew about 6-8 beads at the top of the head (marked red on the photo). Then make a peyote triangle, decreasing on the side of the nose.

6. Mobile strap or a metal ring for key chain – attached by a loop of beads (thread through it several times – this part should be sturdy).

Then, on the opposite strands of the triangle - ndebele strands.

← Crest spikes made the same way as in the spiky pendant.

7. Tail base.Tail is pretty much the same as the body (step 2) just without the big stone bead. Before making the tail, do a few rows of brick stitch (don't forget to use different colour of beads for the belly) with a few decreases – you should have about 7 beads in the last row.

8. Tail. Add an uneven amount of beads. (depending on where you start... I started from the center - opposite from the stone, that's easier. Notice – now size 15 is on the opposite side, and the S shape is starting to get obvious).

9. Peyote rows. Starting from the center – 15, 15, 15, treas, treas, treas, 11, a row of double size 15 (2 beads added between size 11 instead of 1), 11, a row of double size 15 treas, treas, treas, sew to the first row of size 15.

(Don't forget to connect the new rows to the tail base)Tip of the tail – 2 rows of brick stitch with decreases, then the same way as spikes on the head crest.

10. Tail crest. Same as the head crest.
