S-CORE SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT TOOL
Understand & Prioritize Effective ActionsFor All Stakeholders in Sustainability
S-CORE’s rapid assessment process provides a framework for first understanding what organizations need to achieve relative to sustainability and then prioritizing effective collaborative action of all key stakeholders. S-CORE’s process is transformational for businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profits, helping them determine where they are on the road to sustainability and then identify and prioritize opportunities to accelerate their journey forward. S-CORE also works to engage stakeholders at multiple levels: within an organization and across an industry; within a supply chain; and with customers and communities.
S-CORE is unique because it is a forward looking, rapid assessment intended for internal use.

Although there are a number of sustainability reporting and assessment tools, guidelines and standards currently available, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Accountability 1000, and the B-Corp Assessment, all these are focused on external reporting and ranking. As a result, their output focuses on the most positive aspects of what the organization has done in the past, not the difficulties or challenges in the future. S-CORE’s focus on internal evaluation and decision-making allows an organization to truly look at their barriers and challenges and prioritize actions while also identifying internal accountability and responsibility.
