Summer Project Choices…

Choose one of the books you read over the summer and complete one of the three project/writing assignments listed below.

You may choose which project you would like to complete.

1. Create a model/sculpture of your favorite character from one of the books you read. You may use as many materials to complete the model as you want. Be creative and have fun!

2. Create a book cover for one of the books you read as if you designed the cover. You can use any materials you want (pastels, colored pencils, etc.) for the illustration as you make the book cover interesting to the reader. Remember to include the title and author on the cover. On the back tell why you want kids to read/buy this book.

3. Write an extension to the book you read. You can write another chapter or a sequel to the book. What will happen next in the book you read? Will there be a new problem? Be creative and have fun!

Happy Reading!!
