Westminster Befriend a Family currently has 5 places in the Royal Parks Foundation half marathon, taking place on October 9th, 2016. Make a difference to local families whilst taking in London’s most iconic landmarks and locations along the 13.1 mile route through the heart of the city! About the marathon The Royal Parks Foundation half marathon is a yearly event, established in 2008, which has raised over £25,000,000 for good causes. More than 16,000 runners take part to raise funds for over 350 different charities. Participants run along a stunning route through closed roads and four of London’s Royal Parks, including Hyde Park; the Green Park; St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
