Leg 1

Start of leg 1Right onto Sigún, right onto Reykjavegur and again right onto Suðurlandsbraut. Turn left onto Kringlumyrarbraut and Hafnarfjardarvegur to Engidalur. Turn left along road 41 following it until you turn off on road 42 to the right going under the road. Follow that road to the road to Djupavatn. Start is just after levaing road 42.

SS-1 Djúpavatn suðurDrive the Djupavatn road turning left onto road 427 until just after the small church on the left. Please note there will be a chicane going through the grated gate on road 427. The chicane overlaps by 1m and a distance of 7m between them.

Continue on 427 and left onto 42 following it past the geothermal area to lake Kleifarvatn.

SS-2 Kleifarvatn norðurContinue along 42 past lake Kleifarvatn to Lambhagavatn.

Continue along road 42 turning left onto Álfhella and then left again onto Dranghella to where it joins Straumhella.

SS-3 Helluhverfi Hafnarfirði 1A spectator stage in Helluhverfi in Hafnarfjörður

Go right on Dofrahella and left on Álfhella and again left on Drangahella to the start of the SS-3 where the start of SS-4 is.

SS-4 Helluhverfi Hafnarfirði 2Same as SS-3

Go right on Dofrahella and right on Álfhella turning left onto 42 and right onto Reyjanesbraut following that to Vesturlandsvegur. Turn right again onto Vesturlandsvegur and the service break.

Leg 2

Start of leg 2Onto Hesthals and then right onto road 1 towards the south coasts. Turn left towards Skíðaskálinn and then right on the track prior to the car park at Skíðakskálinn.

SS-5 Skíðaskálinn austurFollow road stopping just before reaching the tarmaced road to Hellisheiðarvirkjun power station.

Turn right onto the service road and left on road 1 following it all the way to 30, turning left. Turn right on 32 left on 327 towards Stöng. Start is just after the junction.

SS-6 Stöng austurContinue along 327 all the way to Hellisskógar.

Continue on the road turning left on 32 which becomes 26 at the junction with 26. Then right onto 208 going just past the Sigalda hydro station on the road to Landmannalaugar.

SS-7 Tungnaá suðurContinue along 208 until the first turnoff to Hnausapollur on the left

Continue on F208 turning right on F225 to just after crossing river Klukkugilskvisl.

Please note: Service is not allowed on this road section until 100m before the TC for SS-8

SS-8 Dómadalur vesturContinue along F225 turning left on the second turnoff towards Mt. Hekla and Skjólkvíahraun stopping just before the Y junction.

Continue along track going up the steep tack towards Mt. Hekla.

SS-9 HeklaDrive track to the east of Mt. Hekla until just before it joins road F210.

Turn right on F210 and right on 264 and right yet again on 1 towards Hella.

Start of leg 3From lunchtime Parc Fermé left onto 1 and then left on 264. Turn left again on 268 following it to Næfurholt farm.

SS-10 NæfurholtContinue along 268 until just before junction with 26.

Right onto 26 then right again on F255 starting just after the junction.

SS-11 Dómadalur austurContinue along F225 until into Friðland að Fjallabaki.

Continue on F225 turning left on 208 until just after the latter turnoff to Hnausapollur on the right.

SS-12 Tungnaá norðurSS-7 driven in the opposite direction

Exit from Skíðaskálinn right onto road 1 turning left on 417 and right on 42 to Álfhella. Then left onto Álfhella and left again onto

Dranghella to where it joins Straumhella.

SS-15 Helluhverfi Hafnarfirði 3A spectator stage in Helluhverfi in Hafnarfjörður. Same stage as SS-3 and SS-4, but run twice.

Go right on Dofrahella and right on Álfhella turning left onto 42 and right onto Reyjanesbraut following that to Vesturlandsvegur. Turn right again onto Vesturlandsvegur and the service break.

Leg 4

Start of leg 4Onto Hesthals and then straight on road 1 towards the North of Iceland. Turn rigth on road 36 going all the way to Þingvellir, then left on 550 following it past the entry to Skogarholar farm.

SS-16 Bolabás norðurDrive road 550 to end of tarred road.

For corners at the start of this stage large lorry tires will be placed on the inside of the corners. This is done to minimise cutting corners thus preventing the tarred surface chipping even more than it is now.

Continue on road 550 to where it meets the old road 52 meet. Turn left to the start.

SS-17 Tröllháls / UxahryggirOld road 52 driven, turning left onto 550 and then again left onto 52 to the first farm in Lundarreyjadalur.

Continue along road 52 and then right to road 50. Note: Service is not allowed on road 52.

Continue along 50 turning left on 516 stopping at the far end of the air strip.

SS-18 Stóri KroppurContinue on 516 until just before joining 50 again.

Turn left onto 50 and then right on 518 allt the way to 550, turning right there.

SS-19 KaldidalurAlong 550 until just before junction with 52.

Continue on 550 turning right on old 52 starting just after the junction.

SS-20 TröllhálsAlong old road 52 to the start of SS-20.

SS-21 Bolabás suðurSS-19 driven in the opposite direction.

Continue on road Nesjavallavegur and then road 431. Turn left onto road 1 following that turning right onto 417. Follow that turning left onto road 42 to Sveifluháls ridge starting at the top.

The road section between SS-1 and SS-2 driven in the opposite direction. Note: Service is not allowed on this road section.

SS-24 Djúpavatn norðurSS-1 driven in the opposite direction. Please note there will be a chicane going through the grated gate on road 427.

The chicane overlaps by 1m and a distance of 7m between them.

Turn left onto road 42 following it to Hvaleyrarvatn turn off on the right. Turn again right following the road to just before Hvaleyrarvatn. Then right at the large house by the lake, starting just after house.

Service is not allowed after turning off road 42

SS-25 HvaleyrarvatnThe road driven to Kaldárselsvegur.

Continue onto Kaldárselsvegur following it past all the stables. Note: Service is not allowed until after the junction with road 410. Turn right onto road 41 following it before turning right onto Hafnarfjardarvegur at Engidalur. Continue to along that and Kringlumýrarbraut to the Parc Fermé at end of the rally. .
