PARISH PICNIC
This year our annual parish picnic/harvest festival will be held,
rain or shine, next Sunday, September 15, 2018, from 1-6 p.m. at
the Polish National Alliance Park, 171 North Plains Road,
Wallingford, CT. All are welcome to attend. Polish and
American food will be available. Special Polish and Picnic
dinners also will be sold. Music for dancing will be provided by
the Grammy Award-nominated polka band, Dennis Polisky and
The Maestro’s Men from Colchester, CT from 1-6 p.m.
Children’s activities and games will be featured, including a
presentation by the magician “The Amazing Andy” from 2:30-
3:30 p.m. Admission: $5/person; children under 16, free. Parking
is free. No BYOB or BYOF, please. For more information, call

W tym roku nasz doroczny piknik parafialny, bez względu na
pogodę, odbędzie się w przyszłą niedzielę 15 września, 2018 w
godzinach od 13:00 do 18:00 w Polish National Alliance Park, 171
North Plains Road, Wallingford, CT. Wszystkich serdecznie
zapraszamy.
Przygotowane będzie pyszne polskie i amerykańskie jedzenie,
również z możliwością kupienia do domu. Do tańca grać będzie The

Bycie uczniem Chrystusa to nie osobisty wybór, lecz Jego
zaproszenie. Chcąc być Jego uczniem, nie można stawiać Mu
warunków. Jeśli jest prawdą, że Jezus zaprasza każdego do
grona swoich uczniów, to nie można zapominać, że jest również
prawdą to, że On stawia konkretne warunki bycia Jego
uczniem. Czy w ten sposób zabiera człowiekowi wolność?
Wręcz przeciwnie. On wyzwala z relacji lub przywiązań, które
mogą zniewolić do tego stopnia, że Bóg nie będzie w życiu
najważniejszy. Jeśli całe serce jest dla Niego, to jest w nim
również miejsce dla innych. Wtedy miłość jest zdrowa i
rozwijająca. Jeśli ktoś lub coś stanie się ważniejsze od Niego,
człowiek marnuje swoje życie. Tylko Bóg może dać życiu
pełnię. Jest nią On sam tu, na ziemi, a przede wszystkim w
wieczności.
Panie, chciałbym móc wyznać za Karolem de Foucauld:
„Odkąd poznałem Boga, wiedziałem, że nie mogę żyć jak tylko
dla Niego”.
