The Caldera Print-to-Cut workflow solution, allows you to manage all production stages of printed document cutting, from one end of the chain to the other (from the document set-up to the actual cutting).

An efficient cutting software has to :

• Extract the contours included in a document to be used for the cut• Allow to drive the different types of cutters in an accurate and optimized way• Allow to manage and handle the different tools and features of the selected cutter

The added value of the Caldera RIP features is the mastering of all the production steps within the same software and the possibility to use all the RIP functionalities together with the cutting features : nesting, tiling, lay-out.

Optimized nesting for Fotoba cutters :

Caldera has developed a technology which automatically adds the Fotoba cut marks around each document during the RIP. No need to use another software to add the marks or even to do it by hand in a design software.
