Professional Experience
Buffalo Wire Works Position – Manufacturing Quality Engineering Intern May 2014 – August 2014
Roles and Responsibilities held at BWW :
•R & D of new product, Rubber Screen panels, using Injection Mold, followed ISO 9001
•Scheduled and Planned operations , Implemented Strategic planning and control, Effective use of FMEA tool
•Application of Lean manufacturing tools SMED, Standardized Work, 5S, Time studies for DIE changeover problem
•Value stream Mapped the current production line
Community Beer Works Position – Lean Six Sigma Quality Intern September 2013 – December 2013
Roles and Responsibilities held at CBW :
•Reduced loopholes using Six Sigma tools “DMAIC” to the transactional process in an organization
• Reviewed and applied 5S, cause and effect diagram, histogram, Pareto Chart, Value Stream Mapping etc
• Analyzed the process using Six Sigma tools like VSM, KPIV/KPOV and Improved process that generates profit to organization
• Suggested use of portal which reduces the lead time between ordering and receiving in transactional process
• Standardized work, defined takt time for each process, lead to reduced process time from 165 minutes to 8 minutes
National organic Chemicals of India Limited (RCD) Position : Production Supervisor July 2011 – July 2012
Roles and Responsibilities held at NOCIL :
•Supervised production unit known CBS, a chemical used as an accelerator in production of tires by clients such as MRF
•Researched and seek Continuous Improvement to make production at faster and improved quality rate
•Analyzed the production rate using previous data and Implemented VSM, Followed hazardous operability process (HAZOP)
•Used FMEA tool to locate the loopholes, resulted in increased production rate by 3%
