BackgroundFaced with an obsolete HR system which was soon to be out of vendor support and the need to service their increasing mobile workforce, the Pfizer HR team developed a business case to implement a cloud-based HR on Demand solution.
BackgroundThe key measures of success defined by the team included:
1. Radical simplification of business processes; unless legally and regulatory mandated – needs not wants 2. Focus on customers (managers, colleagues and HR community) – provide an intuitive user experience3. Make it easier to get things done – any device, anywhere, anytime

adds flexibility and alleviates high maintenance costs required
to maintain highly customised legacy systems.

support model – a modern concept which requires some shift in thinking
compared to a traditional support structure. This approach includes some benefits related
to driving product changes driven by community-based customer requests.
